Oh Monday, why are you here already?! I was enjoying the time with both of my boys way too much and wish it could last all week. But we all know that can’t happen, so bring on the week days! It was pretty rainy and gross here in TN again this weekend, but we still managed to get out and do quite a bit and spend time with friends.

I can honestly say I am LOVING Revolt and everything about it so far. I have done every workout and eaten clean (other than on cheat day-Sat) and am already noticing results just after one week. Last time I checked (Sat) their was no change in my weight- but my stomach feels flatter and less bloated and I feel like I have gained muscle. I wish I had have done measurements last week to see if their has been any change. Not going to lie it’s a little strange to not see the number on the scale go down but I’m trying to not let it get to me. Thoughts?

Detox week is officially over and we are moving onto the regular meal plans. Again this week I plan on mostly sticking to the meal plan- but with substitutions. We are also moving onto a new set of workouts and I am excited about that.

Wondering what I ate on cheat day? I’ll tell you it wasn’t as exciting as I thought it would be. So here it is…

Breakfast: Protein Smoothie (3 C. spinach + 1 frozen banana + 1 scoop vanilla protein powder + 3/4 C. almond milk + ice) My new go-to smoothie recipe…SO GOOD.

Lunch: Handful of chocolate chips while baking brownies

Dinner: We went to O’Charleys and I ordered the Bruschetta Chicken w/ a house salad off of their lower-cal menu. I had high hopes for this- but I didn’t know their would be red onions mixed in with the tomatoes and I was so grossed out I could barely eat any of the chicken. I ate most of my house salad though and a couple of bits of Levi’s broccoli & cheese casserole side that he had. Dessert was a couple of bites of chocolate pudding pie and 2 or 3 brownies.

Knowing that it was cheat day and I could have anything I wanted, nothing really sounded that great. The only reason I made the pudding pie was because Stu wanted it (It was good- but I’m not a huge chocolate pudding fan) and the brownies I made just because. Honestly I felt pretty gross after eating all the sugar and wished I didn’t even make them. It’s crazy how after eating clean for just one week, it changed so much the way my body felt and what it craved. I guess it’s true: You eat clean and you crave clean food.

Today (Sunday) I didn’t really eat bad but didn’t really stick to any plan. I had another protein smoothie for breakfast/lunch and dinner was grilled chicken and salad and I had a small piece of corn casserole. I was kind of mad that I ate it, but we had friends over and I cooked it for them and just could not resist having a small amount. Before bed I had a zone bar because  I was hungry. I’m ready to get back onto a schedule tomorrow!

Hope that you had a great weekend!

Did you do anything fun? Eat any good food?
